Mercedes-Benz in New York presents its new R-Class model.
Mercedes-Benz has presented in the last Salon in New York one of the models pending renewal, the R-Class, which had not been updated since 2006 and listed as one of the largest and luxurious people carriers on the market. After such 'facelift', which some engines have been improved and has added equipment, only the front has received major changes.
Everything before
Primarily, the intention of concentrating on the front changes was to achieve a greater sense of width. Capo has been changed by another court more horizontal as well as the radiator grille, headlights,PSN_requires_the_government_tos, front bumper and wings. As an option, it is possible to finish this new design with a chrome package which affects the door handles, the exhaust outlets and the waist line.
For the rest you have to have little change in the rest of the bodywork. Just have changed the covers of mirrors and the design of the wheels (which can go with wheels from 17 to 21 inches) and optical groups in the rear.
Engines
Nor is there much surprise in the engine section, except the incorporation of a diesel version that runs on diesel BlueTEC and AdBlue, a chemical based on a solution of urea to neutralize the harmful effect of drastically reducing nitrogen oxide emissions. As an option, and still without knowing the prices, it may add things like electric tailgate, air suspension, bi-xenon headlights, combination of two colors for the interior and panoramic sliding roof. There is also the possibility of equipping a pack in the R-Class AMG including multicontour seats with electric adjustment, sports steering wheel with paddles, sport pedals and interior lighting pack.
